Shri Subir Roychoudhury is Chairman of Prize. He simultaneously holds charge as Chairman & Managing Director of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited. Prior to this assignment, Shri Roychoudury held charge as Director (Marketing) at Hindustan Petroleum Corporation.

A Mechanical Engineer from Jorhat Engineering College, Assam, Shri Roychoudhury joined the Oil Industry in 1976 in the Refinery Division of the Assam Oil Company, then a part of the erstwhile Burmah Oil Company. He took up employment with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation in 1982, with the newly formed Pipelines Division. He has handled various portfolios in the Marketing function, including cross country pipelines projects, supply & distribution, institutional & commercial sales, and as head of the Marketing function.

Shri Roychoudhury is known for his hands-on management style, strong emphasis on team work, and result orientation. Hindustan Petroleum’s excellent track record in implementation of cross country pipeline projects is attributed to the strong foundation laid by him.

Under his leadership Hindustan Petroleum has received several awards, prominent among them being, Most Trusted Brand in Auto Fuel from CNBC Awaaz, Marketing Campaign of the Year from Platts’, and several others.

Shri K Murali took charge as Director – Refineries of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) effective 2nd February 2009. He has joined as Board member of Prize Petroleum Company Ltd on 30/12/2011.

A Chemical Engineer, Shri Murali started his career with erstwhile Caltex Oil Refining (India) Ltd at Visakhapatnam, which was later merged with HPCL. During his long career spanning more than 30 years, he has handled various critical positions including as head of both the refineries of HPCL at Mumbai and Visakhapatnam, as Head of the Punjab Refinery Project, and as Head of R&D.

Shri Bhaswar Mukherjee took charge as Director Finance of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) effective 1st February 2008. He has joined as Board member of Prize Petroleum Company Ltd on 30/12/2011. He also serves on the Board of Petronet India Ltd, as HPCL’s nominee Director.

Shri Mukherjee is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has a wide exposure to the Petroleum Industry spanning over 30 years in the areas of Finance, Internal Audit and HR in Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited.

Shri. K. S. R. Prasad is Director of Prize. He is presently an Executive Director in HPCL, responsible for overseeing all the joint ventures of HPCL. He is a Chartered Accountant. He also holds Bachelor’s degree in Science, from Karnataka University and Post Graduate Diploma in System Analysis and Design. He has vast experience of more than 30 years in Oil Sector in various units of HPCL in different capacities.

He had joined Caltex Oil Refinery (India) Ltd., (CORIL-which was merged with HPCL on nationalization) as Management Trainee. He has held positions in the streams of Corporate, Marketing Finance, Visakh Refinery, Mumbai Refinery Projects. He was the Financial Controller of HPCL, before he moved to head Corporate Projects & Planning and Internal Audit departments.

He is overall in-charge to look after the interests of HPCL in all their Joint Venture Companies. He is also Director on the Boards of Hindustan Colas Limited (HINCOL), South Asia LPG Co.Pvt.Ltd. (SALPG) and Hindustan Mittal Pipelines Limited (HMPL). He is also Chairman of the Audit Committees of South Asia LPG Co.Pvt.Ltd. (SALPG), Prize Petroleum Co.Ltd. (Prize) and member of Audit Committees of Hindustan Colas Limited (HINCOL) and Hindustan Mittal Pipelines Limited (HMPL).
